Tweply

So you don't miss that thing that was said to you just now and stuff.

Why?

Because I love twitter and I don't want to miss anything. If i'm on the road and someone mentions something about the #omahatweetup, I want to hear it. If I send a Tweet from TreoTreet, and someone @replies, I want to see that too. But I don't want to enable mobile updates to get everything. I only want what I want. And you can have that too.
It's like the old "track" command, but on steroids.

Who made this?

Hi. I'm The Internet's Gabe Kangas. You may know me from Twitter or Facebook. I also got popular once building a thing called PandoraFM. I do this to meet girls.

Like any other Twitter-related service, I have the opportunity to collect everything you say and send it to your mom in an embarassing email. But I promise not to do that. You're really not that interesting.

Details on use

If you're looking to be alerted on just @replies to you, you don't need to set it to look at the public timeline. Twitter puts all @replies to you, regardless if you follow them or not, under "replies". I'd recommend just doing that.

The only real use of following the public timeline is to monitor a keyword that people may be discussing. Things like a #hashtag or a term. I, for instance, follow "tweply" and "#omahatweeup".

What's next?

Depends if it catches on. It's just a utility.

Oh, and it's pronounced twee-plie (like reply - get it?). But I guess tweh-plee will do.
